Slide/OTS 2022

It’s been a hectic couple of weeks at the Gravity Collective. Having dodged it for such a long time my family came down with Covid as I was away for a few days and with Slide/OTS just around the corner I had to stay away.

Flash forward a few days, the van was packed, lateral flow test done and time to head down to Telford to set up for Slide/OTS 2022.

With four brand over two stands and a full diary it was going to be a busy few days.

It was fantastic to be back at it, seeing all my customers, meeting new ones and catching up with some friends from the industry. I didn’t get a chance to catch up with everyone as I really was that busy.

First time at the slide presenting Black Crows and it was fantastic, the updates were well received as was the graphic update across the frontside categories.

Some excellent additions to the Dynafit range for 22/23. The crampons, glasses and triple rated helmet were winner. Pomoca skins continue to gain traction in the UK.

The sell in for Salewa was almost complete before the show but a couple of really positive meetings.

As I write this, I still haven’t been home but today is the last day of isolation for my family and I’m looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. The general feeling from the show was super positive, everyone was happy to be back at it and roll on the ski test…….
